Calculate weekly work hours from clock times
Fill in the time you clocked in and clocked out for each day of the week, plus any unpaid break in minutes. The tool instantly works out the decimal hours for each day, adds them into a weekly total, and — if you enter your hourly rate — multiplies the total by your rate to estimate gross pay. Everything updates live as you type and runs entirely in your browser, so your timesheet is never uploaded anywhere.
Overnight shifts are handled automatically: if your clock-out time is earlier than your clock-in time, the calculator assumes you finished the next day and adds 24 hours. Unpaid breaks are subtracted from each day before totalling. Hours are shown as decimals (so 8 hours 30 minutes is 8.5), which is the format most payroll systems expect.
FAQ
How are decimal hours calculated? Minutes are divided by 60. So 30 minutes is 0.5 hours and 15 minutes is 0.25 hours. The result for each day is rounded to two decimal places.
How do overnight shifts work? If the clock-out time is before the clock-in time, the tool treats the shift as crossing midnight and adds 24 hours, so 22:00 to 06:00 correctly shows 8 hours.
Is unpaid break time subtracted? Yes. The break minutes you enter for a day are subtracted from that day before the daily and weekly totals are calculated.
Is my timesheet data saved or uploaded? No. All calculations happen locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server and nothing is stored after you close the page.
