Graph Paper Generator

Make printable square or dot grid paper at any spacing — set it up and print.

Grid type

Printable graph paper, made your way

Pick a grid type, a spacing in millimetres, and a page size, then print. You can make classic square graph paper or a modern dot grid (great for bullet journals and sketching). The preview updates live and is sized to match the real sheet, so what you see is what prints. Everything runs in your browser — no sign-up, no watermark, and nothing is uploaded.

For best results, set your printer to actual size (100% scale, not "fit to page") so the spacing is exact. A 5 mm grid is the most common choice for everyday maths and notes; use 10 mm for larger writing or 2–4 mm for fine plotting. Choose A4 (210 × 297 mm) or US Letter (215.9 × 279.4 mm) to match your paper.

FAQ

How do I keep the squares the exact size? In the print dialog choose 100% / actual size and turn off "fit to page" or "shrink to fit". Scaling changes the spacing.

What spacing should I use? 5 mm is standard graph paper. Use 10 mm for bigger cells, or 2–4 mm for detailed graphs. Dot grids are commonly 5 mm.

Can I make dot grid paper? Yes — switch the type to Dots. It places a small dot at each grid intersection instead of full lines.

Does it work for A4 and Letter? Yes. Pick A4 or US Letter; the preview and printout are sized to the chosen sheet.
