Discount Calculator
Calculate the final price and savings from a percentage discount — with optional stacked coupon. Nothing is uploaded.
How the discount calculator works
Enter the original price and a primary percentage discount. The optional second field lets you stack a coupon or additional sale on top: it applies to the already-reduced price, not the original. The effective discount shows what percentage of the original price you are actually saving in total.
Stacked discounts compound rather than add. A 20% discount followed by a 10% coupon saves 28% in total, not 30%. The calculator shows you the exact figure so you can compare deals accurately before buying.
FAQ
What is a stacked discount? A second percentage applied to the price after the first discount has already been taken. Retailers often combine a sale with a promotional coupon this way.
Why is the effective discount less than the sum of the two percentages? Because the second discount is calculated on a smaller base. The compounding effect means the combined saving is always less than the simple sum.
