A free offline country reference

This tool is a searchable directory of every country and a few widely-used territories. For each one it lists the international phone dialing code, the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 and alpha-3 codes, the capital city, the ISO 4217 currency code, and the world region. Type anything into the search box — a country name, an ISO code, a dialing code such as +44, or a capital — and the table filters instantly as you type.

Everything stays in your browser

The full dataset ships with the page, so nothing leaves your device and no network request is made. That makes it handy for international dialing, planning travel, filling in address or phone forms, and quickly looking up ISO codes, capitals or currencies — even with no connection. Country names are shown in your chosen language automatically.

FAQ

What is a country dialing code? It is the prefix you dial before a phone number to reach another country, for example +1 for the United States and Canada, +44 for the United Kingdom, or +82 for South Korea.

What is the difference between ISO alpha-2 and alpha-3 codes? Alpha-2 is the two-letter code (US, GB, KR) used in domains and forms; alpha-3 is the three-letter code (USA, GBR, KOR) often used in data and sports.

Why do several countries share +1? The United States, Canada and many Caribbean nations belong to the North American Numbering Plan, which all uses the +1 prefix.

Can I search by capital or currency? Yes. The search matches the country name, both ISO codes, the dialing code (with or without the +), and the capital city.

Is my data uploaded anywhere? No. Everything runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
